Course Overview
This CPD course provides healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver a private weight management service, incorporating the use of Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and Wegovy (Semaglutide) injection pens. Participants will learn the clinical guidelines, patient eligibility criteria, consultation processes, medication titration, adverse effect management, and legal requirements associated with the service.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand the scope and protocols of a private weight management service.
Identify appropriate patients for weight management interventions.
Demonstrate knowledge of Mounjaro and Wegovy, including their mechanisms, dosing schedules, and contraindications.
Conduct effective patient consultations and risk assessments.
Maintain appropriate records.
Recognize and manage potential adverse effects of the medications.
Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications and safe use of injectable therapies.
